From February 2019 to March 2020, I worked with Refinery29 on the launch of their French platform, collaborating closely with Cloudy Zackrocki (VP of International Content & Brand Strategy) and Creative Director Helen Woltering. My role focused on adapting the brand’s distinct voice for a French audience, ensuring relevance, inclusivity, and cultural resonance while maintaining editorial consistency.
This collaboration gave me deep insight into engaging young audiences, shaping inclusive narratives, and balancing brand identity with SEO-driven content strategy. The launch quickly gained traction, attracting thousands of weekly readers and establishing a strong foundation for the brand in France.
